Evan Schwerbrock - Trainer

Evan has been heavily vested in the fitness realm since high school when he conducted a year-long research project at Northwestern University and helped to start a student athletic trainer program.  He received an undergraduate degree in Health Science from Bradley University in 2014 and his Masters degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Applied Exercise Physiology from University of Illinois-Chicago in 2017.

Evan is a NASM certified personal trainer, FMS certified, and is a certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist. He has served as a high school strength and conditioning coach, group fitness instructor, personal trainer, seminar instructor and adjunct professor of physical education.  He has also participated in many athletic endeavors including CrossFit, Spartan Race, Olympic Weightlifting and powerlifting.  He is currently focused on strongman and hopes to compete on the national stage soon.

Evan hopes his diverse experiences and blessings he's been given can be of great benefit in helping others live healthier, more functional lives.

Matt Smith, LMT - Massage Therapist

Matt graduated from MTI School of Massage Therapy in 2014. He has been a licensed massage therapist (LMT) for five years, specializing in Swedish, deep tissue and is prenatal certified. In 2017 Matt completed his Medical Massage Certification. Matt uses myofascial release, trigger point, PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) stretching and relaxation techniques to therapeutically aid in pain management and relief for patients.

Matt has worked in relaxation spas and in chiropractic offices. Matt believes that massage in addition to chiropractic treatments provide for a successful recovery from auto accidents, sports injuries or surgical recoveries.

Matt is passionate about massage and the many benefits it gives. In addition to the physical effects of massage, it can also be very beneficial for emotional and mental health. Massage therapy reduces stress and anxiety as well as promotes a healthy body image
